My friend Bowen Choat, was the owner of Phoenix Tattoo in Patong and he asked me to shoot 4 promotional and eye-catching videos, so people would learn more about the team and about him. Everyone in the videos, Models and Artists are his real friends, so we did not need to hire anyone.
We had such a good time together shooting these videos, both on and off the set. Sometimes they invited me to a barbecue in their condo and sometimes we went to Kudo for drinks. I have lots of good memories from the time I spent with Bowen and he was a big inspiration to me.
Kalim Beach was a great setting for this video. Its not too popular, because of the many rocks in the ocean, but nice and private for this photoshoot. There is also this special vibe about Kalim Beach when the sun sets. People gather on the road of the beach and local food sellers set up food and coffee stations.
About the shoot- its easy to work with people, that love being in front of the camera. So if you like the videos, credit goes to the models and Bowen, natural born superstars.
